Dr. Carolyn Jackson
Carolyn Jackson is Professor of Gender and Education in the Department of Educational Research at Lancaster University, UK. She has researched and published extensively on gender and education for around 30 years, focusing in particular on constructions of masculinity and femininity in schools and universities. Her books include '“Lads” and “Ladettes” in School: Gender and a Fear of Failure, and 'Lad Culture in Higher Education: Sexism, Sexual Harassment and Violence' (with Vanita Sundaram).
